 Alex Shelley & Jay Lethal beat Team 3D in 7:40 after Doug Williams hit Devon from behind with the briefcase. Lethal's attire was awesome and that was the best match on Impact that I've seen in awhile.

Samoa Joe defeated Scott Steiner & Booker T in a Nation of Violence first blood match in 11:50 after Joe nailed Booker in the gut with a pipe, which caused internal bleeding. Joe kinda looks like Curly from the Stooges now. And if this was a No-DQ why didn't Angle, Nash and Sting come down? And why didnt Joe use his knife?

AJ Styles made Shane Douglas tapout with a armbar in 5:10. Douglas' arms are TWO different colors. And I've heard of phoning it in, but Shane was like mailing a postcard in. Douglas is so fat he can't even take off his shirt anymore. AJ winning and thats the way uh-huh uh-huh I like it. Shane and Joe should feud over who took the last cupcake from catering. If Shane hit you with the belly to belly now it would be career ending...look a the size of his belly. Oh, and the first question Lauren should have given was "what was it like working at target?".

Tara beat Madison Rayne in 4:15 with the Widow's Peak. So the term widows peak isn't copyrighted then? And she needs a different name than Tara that's to generic.

Kurt Angle pinned Sting in a King of Mountain qualifier in 16:55 after the Angle Slam. This match was brought to you by smooth, tasty, and invigorating STACKER 2 6 HOUR POWER! Meh match. The Thursday Night War goes to WWE Superstars in my opinion and Jericho/Morrison>Sting/Angle.

 Kiyoshi & Sheik Abdul Bashir d. Christopher Daniels & Suicide when Kiyoshi pinned Daniels after Shane Douglas hit Daniels with a tiny chain (*1/2). Shane's reason for going after Daniels actually makes some sense. Kudos TNA. He's after Daniels because he's jealous that Daniels got a second chance and he never did. I'm guessing that after last week when Douglas first reappeared. As he was beating Daniels down, Shane kept shouting "where's my second chance" at him. Anyways, after the match Franchise is so fat now he has to sit down to give a promo. And even his voice sounds fatter. Also Shane's socks bother me, if you wanna wear bright socks like that you have to wear a matching shirt. 

Beer Money d. Chris Sabin & Consequences Creed after Beer Money hit the DWI for the win (*1/2). Hmmm, Motor City Consequences? Lethal Machine Guns? Ebonies and Ivories? Anyways, Victoria is now named Tara... what a generic name.

Daffney d. Taylor Wilde after being distracted by Dr. Stevie (DUD). Taylor has the WORST tron ever. Seriously, she has a stars + stripes theme, yet she's Canadian. And how is Taylor not the heel in this storyline? Also, it might be 10 years too late, but I love how Raven, Richards, and Daffney are in the ring at the same time.

Matt Morgan d. Jesse Neal with the big boot (DUD). So this Jesse guy is military, and Rhino's training has been tougher than anything he did in boot camp, despite the fact he has a gut. This guy should change his name to Hippo. Then we can have Rhino and Hippo. He also has the worst haircut I have ever seen. Anyhoo, Matt Morgan threw that kid by his dong.

Samoa Joe d. Kevin Nash after hitting him with a hockey stick in a Lethal Lockdown King of the Mountain qualifying match (*1/2). I'm really bored of Joe, especially with his new look. He looks like a fat guy in pajama pants. He also gassed in this match and sweated like a whore in church.

 People were raving about the Melissa Anderson vs. Awesome Kong match at the last tapings. The match wasn’t taped for television and was just something thrown out, and it blew everyone away. Anderson will not be used as Cheerleader Melissa, and the working idea for her is to go as Melissa Anderson, “Future Legend,” because she was given that award many years back at the Cauliflower Alley Club.. There are no plans right now to use her on television without the Raisha Saeed gimmick. The match was so good that when it was over, Raven remarked it was the best women’s match he had seen in ten years, and he’s not known for being that kind of generous when it comes to complimenting people’s work. It's been said that if it was compared to the Kong vs. Gail Kim matches of 2008, that this match was more believable but that Kong vs. Kim was more spectacular .

I wish TNA Creative would get their heads out of whatever asses they're in and put Melissa on TV as Melissa! Raisha Saeed has run its course and needs to go the way of old yeller. Kong really doesn't need her anymore.

 Samoa Joe was informed he has a torn triceps in his right arm this afternoon while getting examined at the Boise State Training Facility for broken fingers in his ring hand suffered at last night's TNA house show.

I was told by one source that it's expected Joe will be pulled from all future bouts beyond the Slammiversary PPV, but I don't know that to be 100%. I was told Joe was willing to gut through the injury if needed.

Well, we know it's not cause of the use of steroids...or working out.

 So, as announced at e3, TNA signed an agreement with Sony, and videos will be made available via their VOD service on the PS3(and soon PSP). Right now, they have the PPVs from 08 and 09, TNA's Bloodiest Brawls, and last week's episode of iMPACT!

 MTV will be filming for a reality show called "Made" at the TNA Wrestling house show event at the Idaho Center in Nampa, Idaho tomorrow night.

The focus of the piece for "Made" on MTV will be TNA stars AJ Styles and The Beautiful People.

 TNA Wrestling is looking for interns for Fall 2009. The following release was put out by the company:

TNA is looking for interns for the Fall of 2009.

Enthusiastic students who would like to gain experience from an exciting, rapidly expanding entertainment company are encouraged to apply. The internship will be hands-on, with opportunities to participate in many aspects of the entertainment industry including marketing, public relations, affiliate relations, licensing, and live events. Interns must live in the Nashville area or be willing to relocate for the duration of the internship.

Candidates must be:

* Well organized
* Goal oriented
* Team players
* Successful multi-taskers
* Eager to learn
* College juniors or seniors

Candidates must also have excellent writing, research and computer skills and an interest or background in television, marketing or communications.

The internship will begin August 31 and end December 11. Compensation will be provided.

Also note: anyone inclined to note silly things like logic and continuity in creative storylines need not apply.
